A city traffic or ordinance ticket should be directed to the Municipal Court printed on the ticket, not automatically to either county clerk.
- A Circuit or County docket sheet: call the Circuit Clerk at 228-769-3040 and identify the case and court.
- A Chancery record: use the county-linked Chancery query or contact the Chancery Clerk at 228-769-3131.
- A court date: verify the case-specific setting with the clerk, even when a general calendar lists a court term.
- A Justice Court citation: use the Justice Court contact that serves the type of ticket or case.
- A city ticket: contact the Pascagoula, Gautier, Ocean Springs, or Moss Point Municipal Court identified by the citation.
For a public but restricted, sealed, juvenile, or redacted record, ask the custodian to identify the applicable order, rule, or statute and whether a segregated public copy is available. The county contact form can be a general fallback, but it does not replace a precise request directed to the clerk that holds the record.
